While the log automatically stores this information, this information is currently not used for any purpose or released to any third parties.

 

It is possible that, in the future, this information could be used to present statistical data on usage of the site. However, no personal identifying information is collected, and any such use would be clearly outlined in this privacy policy. Additionally, this site does not use “cookies.”

 

Our policy on children’s information (e.g., Photos, Meet Results, Events):

 

It is the agreed policy of the Communications Committee to provide the utmost protection of the privacy of Cedar Run’ children. Therefore, the website will never knowingly identify a minor child on the website. Photos posted of Cedar Run children will not bear captions specifically identifying any child.

In addition, any Cedar Run Newsletter articles or photos identifying Cedar Run children will be deleted from the online versions. This includes sports photo captions or other identifying information.

 

If you have concerns about the privacy of Cedar Run children on the website, please contact the Communications Committee or Webmaster.

About the security of the information you provide to us:

If you send an email to the Technology Committee or Webmaster, you should know that email is not necessarily secure against interception. If your communication includes sensitive information that you prefer not to use in email, please contact the Communications Committee by postal mail or telephone rather than email.
